“Quoddy Head Station – Best Coast Guard Rescue

Credit Bill Clark for rescuing the abandoned and deteriorating Quoddy Head Life-Saving Station, located within walking distance of the historic candy-striped West Quoddy Light.

The bluff top, ocean-view property now accommodates guests in an overnight cabin, four-apartment lodge, and four-bedroom Station House.”

“An excellent

Trip Advisor - Highly Recommended

“We loved the cabin; peaceful, quiet, beautiful building with all you need. The location has a great view and easy access to walk the shoreline and to the Quoddy Head lighthouse and state park, and an easy drive to Lubec and Campobello Island. We’d stay again without hesitation.”

“Unique conversion of Coast Guard station into motel rooms. Every need and convenience has been looked after – plenty of chairs, lamps, comfortable beds, deluxe linens, all this and a seaside view. Uniquely decorated with Coast Guard and nautical memorabilia. Like the real estate people say – this property is not a drive by – take a look inside.”

“This place is totally amazing. The views are even better than the photos. The service is incredible. The light house was even withing walking distance, and the trails were exciting and fantastic at the Quoddy Light House.  And the Lubec downtown was REAL Maine!  Stay!  You shall NOT be disappointed!!

“We stayed in the Kimball room in the Lodge building for 3 nights and it was great! Wonderful view, spacious rooms, kitchenette…We’d definitely stay here again and will recommend to friends and family.”

‘This was a wonderful place to stay. We spent 4 nights there in a remodeled cabin. It had everything we needed. Close to numerous trails and places to visit. It is as far northeast you can go. The manager, Bill, was courteous and helpful. Canada is only minutes away so take your passport. The West Quoddy Lighthouse is an amazing place to visit. We collected some sea glass while there. Will definitely return next year.”
